How long does a bathroom remodel take in Leesburg, VA?

The growth-ring neighborhoods are now 25-plus years old, and their bathrooms show it: framed shower doors, cultured-marble vanity tops, a corner tub in a tiled deck, and builder tile. Usually the deck comes out first, which frees the floor and puts the window back in charge.
Then frameless glass, a real double vanity, large format tile, and lighting moved into the ceiling. The footprint rarely changes; how it is used changes completely.
Do I need Town of Leesburg permits or Loudoun County permits?
It depends on the address. Inside town limits, bathroom remodels that touch plumbing or electrical run through the Town of Leesburg’s own permit office. Leesburg-address properties outside the limits, which includes Lansdowne, River Creek and much of the Route 7 corridor, go through Loudoun County Building and Development instead.

Can you convert our tub to a walk-in shower?
Yes, it is the most requested change in both kinds of Leesburg house. We handle the plumbing changes, full waterproofing, tile and frameless glass, and if a curbless entry matters to you we plan the floor for it before any tile goes down.
In a downtown house the shower often takes the whole width the old tub had; in a 1990s house it usually goes where the corner tub was.
Can you add a second toilet room inside an existing Leesburg bathroom?
