What we built — and one honest tradeoff
A full remodel around a white-and-black scheme: crisp white perimeter cabinetry, contrasting island with a marble top, updated appliances and lighting. The kind of kitchen that photographs like a showroom but still works for a busy household.
The tradeoff: marble is beautiful and it patinas — it will etch and mark with use in a way quartz won’t. We make sure every client chooses it knowing that. Here, the homeowners wanted the real material and accepted the aging; quartz look-alikes were the fallback we offered.
