A partially enclosed space that cuts off natural light? We don’t think so. Our kitchen renovation included large doors with plenty of visible access to the outside that encouraged natural light to come through. We also knocked down the partial walls that were left standing to create an open concept connection and flow between the kitchen and the next room.

Before Remodeling

This kitchen was outdated, but still had potential. We were happy to make sure the potential of natural light that the home already had remained present. But, those remaining wall stands only cut off the ability to have a strong flow from one room to the next, making entertaining guests more isolating for the chef than open.
