We took this space from outdated to fresh with windows that bring in bright natural light, furniture that anyone can enjoy, and a paint color and ceiling lights that draw your eye all the way to the top.

Now this is a kitchen renovation that you will want to invite everyone over to see. We got rid of all of those dark colors that brought the room down, and replaced them with bright colors that encouraged natural light to come in through the newly installed windows that the place of more cabinets. We kept your ability to have plenty of storage, but reorganized the room so it feels more like a living space and less like an enclosed room.

Before Remodeling

This kitchen as it was may be functional for what you needed as a base level, but it did not show this homeowner’s individual charm. Dark wooden cabinetry and flooring does not encourage one to feel like there is unlimited potential, and instead shows that there is just too much of one color and texture in a single space. It may have worked, but it didn’t have to stay.

After Remodeling

Now, this is a kitchen remodel to celebrate. Bright natural light giving this homeowner a beautiful view that encourages them to be more eco-friendly is a plus for modernization. The lights we did install give this space an individualized look, as more people may be familiar with hanging lamps than lights that appear to come directly from the ceiling itself. From bright white to gold, to how the cabinets and floor now have different colors and textures which lets them both shine, this kitchen renovation gave the homeowner something made just for them.

This main floor remodeling project in Leesburg, Virginia, involves a complete transformation of the space, focusing on modern design and functionality. The renovation includes kitchen remodeling, removal of load-bearing posts, updating the fireplace, relocating the laundry room to the upstairs area, adding a new powder room, installing new flooring, and incorporating a large new window to enhance natural light.

As part of the redesign, the laundry room is being moved from the back of the kitchen to the upper floor, allowing the kitchen to be expanded by removing the wall that previously separated the two areas. The kitchen will feature beautiful cabinetry manufactured by Crystal (Encore line), with the Cascade door style and a Frosty White Matte Sheen finish, creating a bright and elegant look. The countertops and backsplash will be crafted from Silestone Quartz in Calacatta Gold Polished, adding a luxurious and timeless touch to the overall design.
