Where this kitchen started
Leesburg mixes historic in-town homes with 1990s-2000s neighborhoods, and both share the same kitchen fate: rooms that lag a decade or two behind the rest of the house. This home’s kitchen was structurally fine and visually stuck in time.
Every Leesburg project starts with one question: which side of the town’s two building traditions are we in? This one sat in the growth ring, which meant a cleaner permit path and the freedom to open the plan without heritage review.
The homeowners’ brief was the most common one we hear in Leesburg: everything new, nothing wasted, no six-figure budget.

What we delivered, and one honest tradeoff
A full same-footprint remodel: new cabinetry, new countertops, new appliances, new lighting. Every surface replaced; the layout, which already worked, left alone.
