This Leesburg, VA kitchen remodel focused on creating a cleaner layout, better flow, and a more polished, modern look—starting with a full demolition and ending with a fresh, highly functional new design. We began by demolishing the existing kitchen cabinets according to the final approved plan, then corrected the layout by removing the angled corner wall and rebuilding it straight for a more seamless, high-end finish.
To improve everyday usability and storage, we reconfigured the pantry based on the new design drawings, and to enhance movement between spaces, we widened the doorway between the dining room and kitchen—making the home feel more open and connected. Once the structural changes were complete, we handled the details that matter most: patching drywall, mudding, and sanding for smooth walls ready for the next finishing stage, followed by full debris removal and haul-away to keep the jobsite clean and organized.
For cabinetry, we installed all-new Mobel cabinets with a refined, contemporary style and a bold island contrast:
- Main Cabinets: Loft door style (MDF), Frappe (matte)
- Island Accent Color: Loft door style (MDF), Benjamin Moore Hale Navy (HC-154), matte
- Premium upgrades: soft-close doors and drawers, full-extension slides, and dovetail drawer boxes
Countertops are planned in Silestone Cincel Grey (to be confirmed) and will include fabrication, professional installation, and precise cutouts for a clean, finished look.
For the backsplash, we selected Happy Floors – Zalaja Glossy (2.5 x 10) in Taupe, installed with the proper setting materials and grout to ensure durability and a crisp final presentation.
This remodel also included important behind-the-wall upgrades to support the new layout. Plumbing work included new plumbing under the sink, installation of the sink and faucet, relocation of the gas line for the updated range specifications, moving the refrigerator water line based on the new location, and routing the hood vent pipe to the exterior for proper ventilation.
Electrical updates were completed to match the new cabinet plan and appliance placements, including under-cabinet LED strip lighting, LED lighting inside glass cabinets, relocated outlets, and dedicated wiring for the refrigerator, drawer microwave, and the hood.
If you’re searching for a kitchen remodel in Leesburg, VA that combines smart space planning, high-quality materials, and clean modern design, this project is a great example of how the right layout changes and finish selections can make a kitchen feel brand new—both in style and function.
