Before Remodeling

This kitchen was average before. It had every it needed to have to work for the homeowner on a base level. But, it did not have flare and personality to show off what this room was capable of.

After Remodeling

There was potential here, so we took our kitchen remodel to the next level, giving this homeowner a dynamic new look. This spacious kitchen renovation means family gatherings, entertaining friends, and showing off a bit whenever the opportunity to allows it.

We transformed this Northern Virginia townhouse kitchen remodel by removing the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room to create a bright open-concept kitchen. After engineering proper structural support, we relocated the range and sink to optimize the work triangle, updated plumbing/electrical, and removed the pantry to make room for floor-to-ceiling storage and a spacious island with seating. The result is a modern, functional layout with improved sightlines, more natural light, and seamless flow for cooking and entertaining—proof that strategic wall removal and appliance relocation can dramatically expand a townhouse kitchen without adding square footage.
